Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Orlando, FL
Compensation: Up to $115,000 bonus
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in operating expense and payroll accounting. This individual will oversee key accounting functions across multiple business segments, lead and develop staff, and provide analytical insights to support business decisions. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and offers high visibility with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting activities tied to operating costs and workforce-related expenses across multiple internal business lines
- Review and validate financial entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by team members
- Evaluate financial results, identifying patterns, fluctuations, and key drivers impacting performance
- Maintain and refine internal reporting across business units to ensure consistency and clarity of financial data
- Supervise and develop a small team, providing guidance, feedback, and performance oversight
- Work closely with business partners to improve tracking and visibility of spend across departments
- Support recurring close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and recommend enhancements or automation opportunities
- Participate in broader initiatives involving systems, reporting improvements, or process standardization
- Build a comprehensive understanding of operational drivers to better support leadership decision-making
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA or public accounting background strongly preferred
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience managing staff
- Strong understanding of Opex, payroll, and P&L analysis
- Experience working in multi-entity or segment reporting environments
- ERP experience required; Oracle is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and interact with leadership
Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
