Job Summary
Job Purpose Statement/s: The job of "School Bus Driver" is done for the purpose/s of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Class B CDL with P, S, Endorsement, Valid Medical Certificate, California Special Driver Certificate (preferred) Valid First Aid Card, Tuberculosis Screening Drug/Alcohol Testing Clearance, Tuberculosis Screening. Must meet the requirements to evacuate students from school bus and perform duties as a bus driver. Also being responsible for providing an attractive, safe, and sanitary environment in which students, staff, and public can learn and to further enhance a positive presentation of assigned areas. An application must be completed in its entirety in order for the applicant to be considered Resume Is not in Lieu of application. Requirements documents: Resume DMV Printout Letter of Introduction ( The purpose of this letter is to introduce yourself to an organization, demonstrate your interest in the company or a specific vacancy, Often this letter is the first contact you have with a prospective employer.) Letter(s) of Recommendation-Two (2) Letters of Recommendation issued within the last two years (Must be dated with signatures) Letter of Recommendation is a letter in which the writer assesses the qualifications, skills, abilities, interests, and capabilities of the person being recommended in terms of that individual’s ability to perform a particular task or function.
