Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: ` High school diploma or equivalent. ` Two years of successful and safe experience in the operation of a motor vehicle; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. ` Possession of a California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Driver’s License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements. ` Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DL51A) ` Ability to qualify and maintain qualification for District vehicle insurance coverage. ` Pass all the written and behind the wheel bus driver evaluation that is required by the District.
Application Packet: Interested applicants are required to submit the following: ` Edjoin Application ` Copy of High school diploma or equivalent. ` Copy of California Department of Motor Vehicle’s - Driver License Driver’s Record Request ` Copy of California School Bus Drivers Certificate and a California Commercial Driver’s License with passenger, air-brake and all other current endorsements. NOTE: Application packet must be complete at time of submission.
