CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided. Incumbents must be willing to work on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must possess all of the following:
Certification:
- Must possess and maintain current Adult Echocardiography certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience:
- Three (3) years of recent experience within the past five (5) years as a Cardiovascular Sonographer, which includes at least one (1) year in an acute care setting and two (2) years in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
Desired Qualifications
One (1) year of experience as a lead or supervising Cardiovascular Sonographer is highly desirable.
