JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to proactively manage the daily inside sales tasks working closely with the commercial sales team to allow the Account Managers of Samsung SDI America to focus more time with customers. The position (i) supports sales and business development from a commercial standpoint to achieve order intake and revenue objectives for the region, (ii) provides support to improve customer and internal cross functional department satisfaction, (iii) coordinates internally for accurate sales metric tracking, reporting and approvals, (iv) supports sales forecasting, business planning, and long term strategic planning, (v) interfaces with internal and customer supply chain teams to ensure sales shipments arrive on-time and without issue.
ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(i) Weekly collection of customer releases / call offs from customer portals
(ii) Weekly entry of SDIA sales volume and revenue estimates into revenue reporting file
(iii) Maintain price history tracking file for all customers (Prices to be provided by KAM’s)
(iv) Maintain Purchase Order (PO) tracking file (PO’s to be checked and provided by KAM’s)
(v) Maintain and update weekly revenue file, including those used for weekly/monthly reporting
(vi) Maintain and send Sales month end closing report
(vii) Coordinate internal and external meetings and events (confirm in person if necessary)
(viii) Support and maintain CRM / man-mapping files, shared drives
(ix) Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and tracking files
(x) Support KAM’s to investigate competitor and customer activities, strategies and profiles
(xi) Lead the resolution of outstanding delivery and Accounts Receivable issues
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- BS, Engineering or Business degree
- 0 to 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and a driver's license.

- Ability to coordinate and interact with partners in a cross-functional organization
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Exceptional relationship skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a high level of accuracy and integrity
- MS Excel expert with full proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools
- Knowledge of automotive industry transactions and customer protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years automotive inside sales experience
- Experience in global organizations
- Experience in automotive logistics, supply chain, sales forecasting, reporting and budgeting, near and long-term (revenue and strategic planning)
- Understanding of automotive B2B sales process
