Are you ready to help power the world? At FCS, we’re seeking a meticulous and proactive Release Analyst to be the operational backbone of our supply chain. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and flow of inbound and outbound communications, serving as the technical expert for EDI releases and CMMS3 maintenance. Essential Functions
- Analyze and oversee inbound and outbound 830/862 customer and supplier releases to ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Set up and maintain CMMS3 screens for new parts, level changes, and new plant launches, while processing critical mailbox messages and resolving system errors.
- Lead the EDI setup process and act as the primary point of contact for researching and resolving complex release discrepancies.
- Work monthly Cumulative Reconciliation Reports and lead the critical Ford Year-End CUM Rollback process to ensure system and financial alignment.
- Partner with Follow-up Analysts, Program Managers, and Customers to communicate packaging needs, level changes, and container maintenance requirements.
- Perform month-end cycle counts, process shipper corrections, and generate weekly Open Order, Backorder, and Part Maintenance reports.
- Compose weekly updates for the MP&L team regarding engine and transmission requirements to ensure customer needs are met.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the release and maintenance modules.
Qualifications We’re looking for a motivated professional who can excel in this dynamic, data-driven role. To be successful, you will typically possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Material Planning and Logistics.
- Deep functional knowledge of Common Materials Management System ver. 3 (CMMS3), specifically within the records and release modules.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex EDI and system issues independently.
