About the Role
Samsung E&C America, Inc. is a leading construction firm currently spearheading the development of a state-of-the-art semiconductor foundry fab in Taylor, Texas. We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Planning Assistant to join our CR team.
In this dual-focus role, you will act as a key partner to our executive leadership team while driving operational efficiency through strategic analysis and robust project administration. You will bridge the gap between high-level management strategy and day-to-day project execution in one of the most critical construction projects in the region. The ability to communicate fluently in both Korean and English (Bilingual) is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support & Office Management
- Calendar Management: Coordinate dynamic executive schedules, prioritize high-stakes meetings, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors; manage correspondence and collaborate with other executive admins to coordinate VIP events and corporate updates.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain and update organizational charts, executive contact lists, and sensitive personal files with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Travel Coordination: Manage comprehensive domestic and international travel itineraries for business and professional requirements.
Strategic Planning & Operational Analysis
- Performance Metrics (KPIs): Analyze company-wide and departmental KPIs to identify operational bottlenecks and develop strategic alternatives to improve performance.
- Process Optimization: Re-engineer internal workflows to maximize productivity and reduce operational costs across the organization.
Project Administration & Data Support
- Document Control: Systematically collect, categorize, and maintain critical project-related documentation.
- Data Management: Build and manage databases for onsite project data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in executive support, strategic planning, or construction project administration.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel data modeling/dashboards).
