Paralegal

A well-established full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their Shreveport office. This is a full-time, 100% in-office opportunity for someone with strong real estate transaction experience and a solid background in legal document drafting, review, and closing support.

What You’ll Do:

• Support attorneys with real estate transactions from start to finish
• Draft leases, purchase contracts, easements, deeds, and other real property documents
• Review legal descriptions, surveys, title commitments, title opinions, and exception documents
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency
• Analyze and summarize real estate documents
• Prepare real estate closing documents for attorney review, including escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner’s affidavits, closing certificates, entitlements, and statements
• Assist with title document, survey, and plat review
• Draft title objection letters and responses
• Support other real estate-related legal tasks as needed

What They’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of related legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Real estate legal experience strongly preferred
• Experience drafting and reviewing real property documents
• Strong proofreading, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines accurately
• Paralegal certification preferred
