Job Overview
The Production Assistant will assist the VP of Manufacturing, and the Plant Manager, in daily operation of Manufacturing to ensure proper proceedures are followed. Working in assisting in quality & safety. We are looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish & English) production assistant. They will work on Tracking information in Excel, Making and tracking reports, Data Tracking, Transfer verification, Floor help, Inventory management, Creating and making files. Associate’s degree Required. Product Quality and Safety inspection. Background Checks required.
Duties
· Experience 0-3 years.
· Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or areas of improvement
· Maintain a safe and clean plant environment for the health and safety of employees as well as product quality
· Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
· Address employees’ issues or grievances
· Influence and learn from co-workers
· Encourage open communication and cooperation between all departments(Sales, purchasing, production and administration)
· Continue to learn the latest production management best practices and concepts
· Perform other related duties as needed
Experience
- Required Associates Degree.
- Computer use and experience
- Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) Required.
90 Day Probation Period.
Back ground check required.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 44.0 per week
