Responsibilities
- Operate the dish machine to clean china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
- Hand-wash larger cookware and specialty items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish room, pot area, and back-of-house spaces
- Inspect, properly store, and transport clean kitchen equipment and wares as needed
- Assist with stocking shelves, stations, and storage areas with clean wares, smallwares, and kitchen supplies
- Help receive, organize, and put away kitchen deliveries and supply orders
- Remove trash and recycling and keep receptacles clean and lined
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors and work areas throughout the shift
- Support the culinary team by keeping equipment and wares available, organized, and ready for service
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work morning shifts
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
- Dishwashing, stewarding, receiving, or kitchen experience is helpful, but not required
