Job Summary
Job Summary
Under administrative the direction of the Special Projects Director, the parent involvement coordinator assists in administrative matters as assigned. The coordinator provides supervision and technical assistance to Federal and State categorically funded programs under the Local Control Accountability Plan and Local Control Funding Formula. Works collaboratively with department staff to facilitate planning, delivery and evaluation of effective parent engagement services to schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: -Associate's degree or higher, supplemented by any combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience: -Experience performing clerical and general office management -Experience working in a public education setting -Facilitation of parent meetings in English and Spanish -Other related experience
