Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the site administrator or designee and direct guidance from a certificated teacher, the EL Para Educator will provide instruction, supervision, and training of individual or small groups of students whose primary language is other than English.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience as required by the “Every Student Succeeds Act 2015”: - High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: - Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university OR - 48-semester units from an accredited college or university OR - Take and pass the Salinas Union High School District’s paraprofessional assessment Must take and pass the District's PDL assessment to demonstrate proficiency in a designated second or third language PLEASE ENSURE ALL APPLICATION FIELDS ARE COMPLETE AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED! Unofficial College Transcripts (if applicable) Associate's Degree (if applicable)
