Your role with us
As a workflow coordinator at Salem Health, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and productivity across departments, coordinating projects, and providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations. You will work collaboratively with leadership and stakeholders to assess situations, track projects, and implement process improvements, utilizing creative thinking and analytical skills. This role requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.
What you'll do
- Coordinates projects from conception to completion, monitoring scope, schedule, and goals; interacts frequently with manager and director to assess situations and follow-up appropriately.
- Utilizes creative thinking and acquired knowledge to assist managers in decision making; conducts independent research and data collection as needed to support projects.
- Develops and maintains infrastructure to support department goals; completes assigned work with a multi-functional team, researching issues and working with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Provides administrative support, including memos, reports, filing, and telephone coordination; serves as a resource for department communications, onboarding, and EOP updates.
- Manages purchasing and procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts; tracks and follows up on all purchase orders and invoices to completion.
- Maintains records according to Kaizen Lean principles; gathers and analyzes data for reporting and presentations.
- Supports department education and training, coaching new employees and contracted staff; leads implementation of revised processes and workflows.
- Coordinates RFI, RFQ, RFP activities; drafts and creates applicable documents; supports strategy development to enhance business processes.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Three years demonstrated successful experience in roles requiring project coordination and business and/or administrative support.
