Your role with us
As the house supervisor at West Valley Hospital, you will serve as the clinical and operational leader on each shift, ensuring our patients receive safe, timely, and high-quality care. You will guide nursing and support staff, oversee hospital-wide operations, and act as the primary resource for problem-solving after hours. Your ability to make sound clinical decisions, support frontline teams, and maintain patient flow will directly impact the patient experience and overall functioning of the hospital.

What you'll do
- Lead hospital operations and provide on-site leadership in the absence of department managers or directors.
- Support staff and patients by responding to clinical concerns, emergencies, and operational challenges.
- Monitor staffing, patient census, and resource needs to ensure safe and efficient care delivery.
- Collaborate across departments to remove barriers, resolve issues, and maintain smooth patient flow.
- Serve as a trusted resource for staff, offering guidance, coaching, and support during routine and complex situations.
- Play a key role in hospital readiness by participating in codes, rapid responses, disaster procedures, and incident command activities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of nursing (BSN).
- Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a registered nurse in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of three years of broad clinical experience as a registered nurse.
