SAJE Strategic Solutions is seeking a high-energy "Rainmaker" to join a Joint Commission-accredited Hospice and Palliative Care agency with a 14-year track record of clinical excellence. Based in Sherman Oaks, this role covers the San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles territory. This is not just a marketing position; it is a pathway to leadership for a builder ready to rise vertically within the organization and eventually lead a team of marketers.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 , with premiums available for candidates bringing active hospital or health plan contracts. The position features a highly incentivized bonus structure paid from day one. You will receive full administrative and clinical backing, including support for DME, EOBS, and billing, allowing you to focus entirely on the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary objective is census building, with a target of 10 to 12 Medicare admissions per month within the first 90 days. You will manage a strategic territory by growing relationships within 11 affiliated SNFs while hunting for new business in acute hospitals, board and cares, and assisted living facilities. This role requires active bedside conversion, managing the referral process from the initial lead to admission. Additionally, you will conduct market education for facility staff and physicians and identify opportunities for new contracts with IPAs and health plans.
Qualifications:
To be successful, you must have a minimum of 2 years of hospice or home health marketing experience in the San Fernando Valley or LA market. An active "Rolodex" of transferable relationships with discharge planners and case managers is essential. While an LVN clinical background is highly preferred to facilitate clinician-to-clinician communication, it is not required.
