Pay Rate:
Range $2160 to $2412 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable
travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Adult Forensic Unit
Shifts available: Days
Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, and
some on-call (48 hours per week available)
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 5 years - Required
- 2- 3 years of recent/Current Psychiatric or Behavioral
health nursing, recent experience within the last 3 months – Required
- Must have forensic psych unit experience - Required
- Must be willing to float
to other units as needed
- Must be willing to take Charge
RN shifts.
- MEDITECH EXPERIENCE - Required
- RTO - No more than 7 days, RTO will not be approved for 4/13-5/24
Education, License
and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly
preferred
- RN License for State of VT or
Compact - Required (Facility will
pend VT license, can apply upon offer)
- CPI Certification or similar – Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide
all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral
health unit/s (Adult Forensic)
- Works
with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and
interventions.
- Utilizes
the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing
care.
- Provides clinical supervision of
MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Accurately and promptly
implements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, and
records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration
of medications.
- Records information
concisely, accurately and completely.
- Must be willing to charge RN shift if needed
- Must float to other units as needed
Salary : $2,160 - $2,412
