We're hiring a full-time W-2 Registered Nurse (RN) to provide K12 school-based services for the 20262027 school year. Whether you're an experienced school nurse or new to the field, youll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this workand is here to help you thrive.

Position Details
- Caseload: School Nurse for High School
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Hours: Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Dates: ASAP - June 2026 (with potential to renew)
- Location: Onsite in Portland
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing support
- Provide academic and classroom support, as well as community vocational exploration
- Coordinate with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain documentation and comply with school health and safety regulations
- Participate in IEP or 504 Plan meetings when relevant
Qualifications
- Current and Unrestricted Illinois RN License
- 1 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Experience supporting students with complex medical and developmental needs preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Compassionate, patient, and student-centered
