This role will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive plan aligned with federal, state, and local resources and strategies. The coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between government agencies, non-profit organizations, housing providers, veteran service organizations, and community partners to ensure a unified approach to addressing veteran homelessness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Public Administration, Public Health, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in homelessness services, veteran services, or program coordination.
- Deep understanding of the unique challenges facing veterans experiencing homelessness.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing large-scale strategic plans or initiatives.
- Knowledge of HUD-VASH, SSVF, CoC, and other federal veteran housing programs.
- Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and program evaluation.
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Arizona as needed.
- Experience working with a data analytics team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Military service experience or background in working with veteran populations.
- Familiarity with Arizona’s homeless service delivery system and key stakeholders.
