Job Description
Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking a Veterans’ Homeless Project Coordinator for a long-term contract in Phoenix, AZ. Work will be hybrid with 1 day per week onsite in downtown Phoenix. Hours are 8 am – 5 pm M - F. Occasional evenings and weekends (weekly schedule will be adjusted when after-hours is required. Pay is $40 - $50/hr.
Candidate will be leading statewide efforts to end veteran homelessness. This position will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive plan aligned with federal, state, and local resources. Will serve as the primary liaison among government agencies, nonprofits, housing providers, and veteran service organizations to ensure a unified approach to addressing veteran homelessness.
Candidate must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in homelessness services, veterans services, or program coordination. Must have a Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, public health, urban planning, or a related field. Candidate must have experience developing and implementing large scale strategic plans and strong project management skills. Candidate must have knowledge of federal veteran housing programs. Preferred candidate will have a Master's degree, experience in data analysis, military service, experience managing grants, and/or be bilingual in Spanish.
Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis for any U.S. employer without sponsorship (no 3rd parties or corp to corp), currently reside in the Phoenix Metro area, be able to work onsite in downtown Phoenix as needed, be able to do limited in state travel, and be able to pass MVD check.
