What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage company-wide safety programs and compliance efforts
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across active projects
- Deliver engaging safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
- Partner with project teams to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and job-specific safety plans
What We’re Looking For
- OSHA 500 Certification (required)
- Experience in heavy civil construction
- Strong leadership, communication, and team training experience
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards

Travel Requirements:
The Safety Manager may need to travel regularly between different project sites. This may involve commuting or staying overnight at project locations for inspections or meetings.
Educational and experience requirements – Must have OSHA 500 Certification, Certified OSHA training: Competent person for excavation and Competent Person for Confined Spaces. Experience working in heavy civil construction, including roadway and highway is a must, and airport work is a plus. Experience working with DOT, Federal entities, and government is a plus. Experience in traffic control planning.
Software - Office 365 Suite. Cloud-based applications such as OneDrive, DropBox, SiteDocs.
Construction — experience in the construction industry, and heavy civil work.
Computer and Technological– Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Products.
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
