What You'll Do
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair. Keep Ryan's vehicles and equipment running at peak performance — performing maintenance inspections, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs with precision.
- Manage the fleet. Monitor inventory, maintain accurate equipment and vehicle maintenance records, and enter data into Fleetio and Asset Tiger daily.
- Coordinate with vendors. Communicate with outside vendors on specialized repairs and ensure work is completed on time and to standard.
- Be the internal expert. Interact with internal clients daily, communicating repair timelines, maintenance expectations, and solutions to problems as they arise.
- Train and coach. Share your expertise with field associates and new team members — passing on best practices in equipment maintenance, care, and safety.
- Think ahead. Provide feedback and input on capital equipment planning to help departments stay ahead of their needs.
- Keep learning. Commit to ongoing on-the-job and classroom training to stay sharp and continue growing your skills.
- 4 years of mechanic experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment
- Ability to weld and perform minor fabrication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in tight spaces in and under vehicles
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
- Strong Pay — Starting at $24.00–$30.00 /hr depending on experience, plus bonuses available
