The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored plant health care programs to maintain the beauty of our clients' landscapes.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations to accurately diagnose plant health issues, including the identification of common pests and diseases.
- Apply preventative and corrective plant protectant treatments as part of an Integrated Pest Management strategy.
- Communicate professional recommendations and service details effectively to clients.
- Consistently deliver high-quality results by effectively collaborating with a team while also having the ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant identification, common diseases, and insect pests.
- Advance your professional expertise and position by actively participating in our structured, education-focused talent development program.
- A strong aptitude for learning is essential; prior experience in horticulture or a related field is a plus.
- A degree in horticulture or agricultural sciences is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic are a must.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain DOT certification.
- The ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator license (KS 3A/3B or MO 3) within the first three months of employment.
- Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
