Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter with 5 years of experience in high-volume recruitment to support staffing needs across multiple dealership locations. This role is ideal for HR professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled in managing full-cycle recruiting processes. Responsibilities include posting jobs, screening resumes, conducting candidate outreach, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding activities. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and committed to delivering a smooth, professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring Support
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process—including job postings, candidate sourcing, application review, initial screenings, interview coordination, and hiring—for a variety of roles across multiple departments and locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Maintain strong candidate engagement through timely communication and follow-ups, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Extend offers, manage pre-employment steps, and support smooth onboarding transitions.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline
- Use job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals to source candidates for current and future openings.
- Some travel required
- Build and maintain a network of talent for frequently hired positions.
Systems & Compliance
- Enter and update candidate records in ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Assist with basic recruiting reports and metrics related to time-to-fill, source of hire, and applicant flow.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with HR leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Support onboarding activities, such as preparing new hire documents and coordinating start dates.
- Share ideas to improve hiring workflows, candidate experience, and sourcing strategies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, or three years of equivalent professional experience.
- 5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources, ideally in high-volume and multi-location settings.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as ADP Workforce Now, UKG Ready, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or Workday.
- Strong sourcing skills with platforms like really, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and social media.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities independently in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience in dealership, retail, automotive, or service-based industries is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional travel to dealerships or job fairs (valid driver’s license required).
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs for event setup or recruitment materials.
