What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Counsel, Digital Antipiracy position at Russell Tobin?
• Support efforts to enforce online rights, including matters involving website infringement, social media disputes, and domain name recovery. This includes contributing to the development of the Company’s digital media enforcement strategies, verifying rights ownership for selected content, and actively participating in cases from initial investigation through resolution.
• Assist with online investigations into piracy incidents and related users, collaborating with both internal teams and external investigative partners.
• Prepare and negotiate vendor agreements and related amendments, while providing guidance to Disney’s operations team on contractual terms.
• Contribute to monitoring and participating in select industry groups focused on combating piracy.
• Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders, industry partners, legal and technology vendors, subject-matter experts across the Company, and external counsel.
• Remain up to date on a rapidly evolving legal, policy, and technology environment.
• Demonstrate strong diplomacy, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage and execute multiple high-priority, high-volume projects efficiently.
