Pay Range: $40 - $43.95 / hourly

Overtime: 10%
Travel: Up to 5% (Domestic, as required)
About the Role
An innovative manufacturing organization is seeking a highly motivated Digital Factory Engineer to support digital transformation initiatives within production engineering and manufacturing environments. This role focuses on developing and implementing advanced digital factory processes, improving workflows, and enabling scalable, technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance digital factory methods, tools, and workflows
- Coordinate and optimize 2D/3D layouts for manufacturing environments
- Improve and support 2D/3D simulation workflows
- Support implementation of digital transformation strategies for production and manufacturing data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technology partners to integrate digital tools into existing processes
- Lead use case development for reality capture, XR visualization, and 3D model integration
- Establish and maintain standard processes, best practices, and data governance policies
- Support deployment of digital factory solutions across teams
- Track, analyze, and communicate KPIs and progress updates to stakeholders
- Perform data processing tasks such as point cloud registration
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Vehicle or manufacturing engineering
- CAD systems
- Digital factory or manufacturing technologies
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives in production or manufacturing environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proven experience in project management and technology evaluation
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process optimization and new process development
- Knowledge of automotive or industrial manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with cloud computing or cloud-based architectures
- Experience with equipment planning and installation
- Exposure to manufacturing CAD systems
- Experience working with point cloud data and XR visualization technologies
- Background in production engineering or new product/model development
