Member Advocate

Our client, a healthcare technology company, is looking to hire a Member Advocate in Lehi, UT.

Pay Rate Range: $18-$19.80/hour

Responsibilities:

• Respond to high-volume, Tier 1 member inquiries by phone and email.
• Help members understand their health benefits, account questions, network plans, and healthcare options.
• Guide members through their benefits and assist them with navigating and paying for healthcare.
• Provide empathetic and personalized customer service during the busy health benefits enrollment period.
• Learn new software programs and adapt to changing processes.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine desire to help others with healthcare-related questions and concerns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn new software and adapt quickly to new processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining calm and empathetic.
• Availability to complete 1.5 weeks of training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• 1 year of customer-facing experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree.
