Job Title: Learning Design Specialist (II)
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid – Tue, Wed, Thur Onsite for 3 days)
Duration: Contract till October end 2026
Job description:
Support education product teams by improving AI-powered learning tools using learning science principles.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise on design of AI education features to improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Evaluate AI tutoring products and recommend improvements
- Help prototype features, including prompt writing/editing
Must-have:
- 4 years teaching/tutoring (English/Language Arts preferred)
- Degree in education, instructional design, CS, or related field
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of learning sciences / pedagogy
- Experience with edtech or consulting
- Familiarity with AI tools / prompt engineering
- Experience training or supporting educators
