Investment Operations Specialist
Overview
The Investment Operations Specialist supports back-office operations by collaborating with Management, Global Financial Services (GFS), Client Services Group (CSG), accounting teams, banking partners, and brokerage firms. This is a non-client-facing role focused on managing daily operational workflows and ensuring accuracy across financial systems.
This position is based in Harrisburg, PA, with minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute various back-office operational processes, including:
- Downloading bank reports and files from banking platforms
- Uploading files into internal shareholder and accounting systems
- Entering transactions into accounting systems
- Uploading cash flows and trade data
- Processing CD/TERM rates and related transactions
- Transmitting batch wire and ACH files to banking partners
- Processing check orders and deposit tickets
- Reconciling lockbox image and check item files
- Handling stop payments and fraud-related cases
- Collaborate with broker-dealers and banks to maintain CD programs and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies between accounting systems and bank records
- Work directly with banking institutions to resolve operational and transaction issues
- Assist with CD interest check deposit processing
- Participate in internal projects involving the processing/operations team
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (preferred)
- 1 years of experience in financial services, banking, or asset management
- Experience in bank operations or data analysis preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access
- Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) preferred
