Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Indianapolis, IN -Hybrid Work Setup – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote

Pay Rate: $30 - $33.23 per hour

Job Type: 1 yr contract w/ pos of ext/conversion

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, sales performance analysis, and business decision-making in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating across teams, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage payments to national account customers while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies
• Extract, compile, and validate financial and operational data from multiple systems
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and actionable business insights
• Develop and maintain forecasts related to contra sales, trade spend, discounts, and promotional allowances
• Partner closely with sales teams to provide financial guidance, reporting, and performance analysis
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting activities
• Conduct ad hoc FP&A analysis to support pricing decisions, business initiatives, and cost optimization efforts
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of experience in FP&A, finance, or an analytical role

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling
• Experience with financial systems and business intelligence tools is an advantage
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations and insights
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
• Experience supporting sales finance or commercial finance functions
• Familiarity with trade spend, contra revenue, and revenue recognition concepts
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
