We are seeking a Commercial Transactional Attorney to join our growing Real Estate Practice Group in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to build and expand their practice while stepping into an established client base and steady deal flow.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of sophisticated commercial matters, working closely with clients across real estate development, investment, and business transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate documents, including:
- Leases
- Purchase & sale agreements
- Letters of intent
- Easements, covenants, and restriction agreements
- Amendments and related title documents
- Manage transactions from initial agreement through closing, including:
- Conducting due diligence
- Reviewing title, survey, and environmental reports
- Tracking critical dates and deliverables
- Preparing and negotiating closing documents
- Facilitate closings and handle post-closing documentation and administration
- Draft and review a range of corporate and commercial agreements, including:
- Operating agreements, bylaws, and shareholder agreements
- Property management and service agreements
- Indemnity and other client contracts
- Support financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan documents (as applicable)
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure efficient deal execution
- Maintain organized and accurate client files throughout the lifecycle of each matter
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission (TN or ability to waive in)
- 3 years of commercial transactional experience
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
