Chestnut Impact Real Estate is seeking an Asset Management Associate to support the stewardship and performance of our growing multifamily portfolio. You’ll work directly with company principals to help ensure assets meet both financial and community‑impact goals. We are a mission‑driven real estate investment firm focused on opportunities that strengthen communities while delivering value to investors. We partner with local stakeholders to develop creative, sustainable approaches that promote thriving, resilient neighborhoods.
What You’ll Do
- Support the acquisition, operation, and long‑term stewardship of our multifamily portfolio.
- Collaborate with property management teams to optimize performance and ensure alignment with impact objectives.
- Analyze monthly financials, property reports, and operational data to inform asset‑level decisions.
- Manage capital improvement projects, including contractor bidding, hiring, and oversight of renovations and ongoing investment work.
- Coordinate with third‑party fund administrators on tax, distributions, and investor capital account matters.
- Improve processes, technology systems, and communications to strengthen asset management operations.
- Assist with periodic reporting to investors and key partners.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, financial analysis ability, and familiarity with multifamily operations—plus excellent communication skills.
Preferred experience:
- 3 years in multifamily asset management, property management, transactions, and/or capital markets.
- Full‑time, in‑office role with flexibility for remote days.
