Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Senior BDR to join a fast-growing commercial team. This role will focus on driving client engagement, expanding existing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across a global client base.

The Business Development team plays a key role in growing platform usage within both new and existing accounts, working closely with internal research teams to support client needs and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate the firm’s value proposition and suite of research services to prospective and existing clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within target accounts
  • Build and manage relationships with users across investment management firms and consultancies
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and other channels
  • Drive lead generation efforts and convert prospects into active users
  • Manage and track account activity, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support client engagement and growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance (finance, economics, or related fields preferred)
  • 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
  • Proven ability to operate in a competitive, target-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Exposure to financial institutions, consulting firms, or professional services environments is a plus
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
