Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) / Senior BDR to join a fast-growing commercial team. This role will focus on driving client engagement, expanding existing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across a global client base.
The Business Development team plays a key role in growing platform usage within both new and existing accounts, working closely with internal research teams to support client needs and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Articulate the firm’s value proposition and suite of research services to prospective and existing clients
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target accounts
- Build and manage relationships with users across investment management firms and consultancies
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and other channels
- Drive lead generation efforts and convert prospects into active users
- Manage and track account activity, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support client engagement and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance (finance, economics, or related fields preferred)
- 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
- Proven ability to operate in a competitive, target-driven environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Exposure to financial institutions, consulting firms, or professional services environments is a plus
- Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
