Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Billing Analyst in Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Onsite – Charlotte, NC 28269
Pay rate: $33-$34/hr
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate completed jobs for billing readiness, including customer authorization and service order closure
- Verify and correct cost postings, ensuring accuracy before setting jobs to “Ready to Bill” status
- Monitor and manage open orders daily, including month-end and quarter-end activities
- Communicate with field offices regarding job status, discrepancies, and required updates
- Support resolution of customer billing disputes and provide timely updates
- Manage invoice upload inboxes and process billing-related documentation
- Participate in weekly meetings with assigned markets via Teams
- Contribute to process improvements and support performance metric goals
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience in a professional/business environment
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Experience in job costing, billing operations, or accounting
- Background in customer service
- Experience with ServiceMax, Salesforce, or SAP
- HVAC or field service industry experience
- Strong financial acumen and process improvement mindset
