Job Title: Account Processor
Location: Owensboro, KY
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Processor to support document processing, account maintenance, and customer service activities in a fast-paced operations environment. This role involves processing account-related transactions, reviewing and maintaining records, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring work is completed accurately and within established service level agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming account-related documents, payments, and transaction requests.
- Review, verify, and maintain customer account records and documentation.
- Scan, classify, and organize documents while ensuring timely processing.
- Update account information and record transactions accurately within internal systems.
- Monitor work queues and complete assigned tasks within established service level agreements.
- Assist customers by phone and email, answering questions and providing status updates on requests.
- Investigate and resolve routine account issues and documentation discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute outgoing correspondence and customer packages.
- Collaborate with team members and internal departments to ensure efficient processing and issue resolution.
- Maintain accuracy and quality standards in a high-volume production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, operations, banking, mortgage servicing, document processing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and maintain a consistent schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, mortgage, loan servicing, or financial services operations.
- Knowledge of document processing and account maintenance procedures.
- Experience working with service level agreements (SLAs) and production-based environments.
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing systems or related operational platforms.
