Accounts Payable Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of the accounts payable process. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Based in Evansville, Indiana, this position offers an opportunity to lead a team and contribute to the efficiency of financial operations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
• Review and code invoices in alignment with company standards and accounting principles.
• Supervise and execute regular check runs and payment schedules.
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for all accounts payable activities.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Proven experience in accounts payable management or related financial roles.
• Strong knowledge of invoice coding and payment processing.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance and audit standards.
