Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently to support smooth restaurant flow.
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer phones professionally and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff regarding seating needs and table status.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, waiting area, and menus.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including restrooms, patio, and private dining spaces, to help provide an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
- Monitor dining room activity and assist with guest needs as they arise.
- Help coordinate large parties, private events, and special accommodations when needed.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Support front-of-house operations and assist team members as needed during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous host, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
