Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at our upscale casual Italian restaurant. This position plays an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by maintaining clean dishes, cookware, equipment, and work areas throughout dinner service.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen floors, trash areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and properly.
- Assist with garbage removal, recycling, and keeping work areas clean throughout service.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning, stocking, and organizational tasks as needed.
- Help maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties assigned by kitchen leadership.
- Work collaboratively with cooks, chefs, and front-of-house staff to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Jump in to help the team wherever needed during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful, but not required — we are willing to train the right person.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized during busy shifts.
