What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwright position at RTP COMPANY?
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings, using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, welding equipment, measuring, and testing equipment: visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment as appropriate, cleans and lubricates machine and parts, performs precision maintenance tasks on various industrial manufacturing processes, and is a key player in continuous improvement efforts through daily use of troubleshooting and predictive, preventative maintenance strategies.

Actual wage is based on education and experience.
Work Schedule: 7am - 3pm, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain machinery and equipment
- Replace worn or defective parts, and troubleshoot issues
- Use cranes, forklifts, hoists, and winches to move heavy parts and machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Test and inspect machinery to ensure it operates safely and efficiently
- Use precision tools and techniques to align and calibrate machine components
- Operate machining equipment, such as lathe and vertical mill
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
