Title I - Ed Tech III
Anticipated Opening, Houlton Southside School

work with students and the regular classroom teacher in planning and implementing instructional activities.
May perform short-term instruction and management activities with indirect professional supervision. The
Educational Technician III may supervise small groups of students in settings removed from the classroom. The
Educational Technician III may perform the duties and responsibilities of Educational Technicians I and II. This
position may include non-instructional duties.
Responsibilities include: Meet with the classroom teacher or appropriate content area specialist and receive
- Assist in the preparation of instructional materials or provide classroom management functions.
- Assists with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods and
- Keeps instructional materials and areas organized and up to date.
Skills:
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructional plans
- Work in a team environment
Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions
