Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Cedar Pointe in Rolla, MO. In this role, you will support our administration in various functions and contribute to creating a positive work environment for our staff. This position is essential in helping us maintain our commitment to high-quality care for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and screening candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain employee records.
- Ensure employee background checks, FCSR, EDL, etc, are completed appropriately upon hire and at DHSS routine intervals.
- Enter / correct payroll data in the time-clock with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support succession planning initiatives to develop talent within the organization.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with workforce management tasks to optimize staffing levels across facilities.
- Provide support in employee relations matters and assist with conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Experience with utilizing computer and programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of workforce management principles and workers' compensation processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to support department managers to enforce employee handbook and policies.
