We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join the COO Office of a large international Corporate and Investment Bank. In this pivotal role, you will support technology transformation initiatives that align with the franchise’s ambitious growth strategy.
The BA is a critical member of a lean and high-performing team responsible for managing a portfolio of technologies and projects. This includes the Banking CRM system, strategic data repository, data controls model, and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment, collaborating with front-office stakeholders and internal partners to perform business and data analysis functions.
Responsibilities:
-Drive the delivery of key initiatives through effective business and data analysis, as well as change management.
- Conduct requirements analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing processes, creating process flow diagrams, developing user stories, and drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) along with mock-ups of user interfaces.
- Perform data analysis, including business and financial analysis, reconciliations, monitoring, and establishing data processes and controls to ensure data integrity.
- Support various change management tasks, such as developing user documentation, drafting change communication memos, and conducting user training.
- Provide day-to-day support for business technologies to end users.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses based on management requests.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvement and technology efficiencies.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in business/data analysis and quality assurance work.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts swiftly.
