What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounting Manager position at RPL International?
We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Controller to partner closely with the CFO and help build a best-in-class finance function. This role will own core accounting operations, support M&A integration, lead audits, and help implement scalable systems to support rapid growth.
What You’ll Do
- Own the monthly close, improving speed, accuracy, and automation
- Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition and the transition from cash to accrual
- Manage external audits and GAAP financial reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Lead purchase accounting and accounting integration for acquisitions
- Play a key role in ERP implementation and finance systems ownership
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 7–10 years of experience; public accounting (Big 4 or regional audit) a plus
- Insurance agency or brokerage experience highly valued
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with an ownership mindset
TRAVEL TO Miami- Quarterly
Person must be based in New York or Connecticut area
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
