RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in Alexandria, Louisiana! Position Details:
Location: Alexandria, LA (travel covered)
Setting: Opioid Treatment Center
Schedule: Part-Time | Morning Shifts | 20 Hours per Week
Responsibilities:
• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and DEA regulations
• Perform chart reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Verify prescriptions and ensure safe dispensing practices
• Step into workflow support and fill prescriptions when technician coverage is limited
• Complete internal reporting and operational documentation using Excel
• Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient and compliant pharmacy services
• Operate independently while managing pharmacy responsibilities and workflow
Requirements:
• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing
• 3–5 years of pharmacist experience
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Interest in gaining pharmacy management and leadership experience
• Substance abuse or opioid treatment experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently in a professional healthcare environment
