An immediate opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to work the night shift at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana. This role centers on providing expert pharmaceutical care within the inpatient hospital setting, contributing to patient safety and optimal medication management.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7 nights on, 7 nights off
- Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently within a hospital inpatient setting
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust medication dosing as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana pharmacist license
- Experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy practice
