The position requires a committed professional willing to work at least six months under contract before transitioning to a permanent role.
Location: New Berlin, WI
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
- On call every 4th weekend and one night per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Verification of intravenous (IV) medication orders ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Preparation and mixing of IV medications in the clean room following sterile compounding protocols
- Performing other clinical pharmacy duties to support patient care and infusion therapy management
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacy license (WI license) required
- Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience, with an emphasis on home infusion pharmacy
- Recent IV therapy experience is mandatory
- 2 years of home infusion experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred but not required
