Location: Kent, WA
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 8-hour shifts
Duration: 16 weeks with potential for temp-to-hire conversion
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform order verification using Epic electronic health records
• Conduct final product verification to ensure medication accuracy and safety
• Provide expert clinical consultation and respond to drug information inquiries
• Supervise pharmacy technician operations to maintain efficient workflow
• Participate in emergency responses including Code Blue events
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis to manage medication dispensing
Qualifications and Experience:
• Must hold a current Washington State Pharmacist license
• Immediate full-time availability required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience essential
• Proficient with Epic and Pyxis systems preferred
• Oncology pharmacy knowledge is a strong asset
