A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Critical Care / Clinical Pharmacist at a hospital in Metairie, LA. This role focuses on providing expert pharmaceutical care in the Cardiovascular ICU and Medical ICU2, supporting a Level 1 trauma center environment.
Schedule:
- Days, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Every other week (EOW)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical care pharmaceutical services in the CV ICU and Medical ICU2
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy for critically ill patients
- Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient care efficiently
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and medication safety standards
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Critical Care or Clinical Pharmacist
- Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma setting is essential
- PGY-2 residency preferred but not required
- Board certification is an advantage
- Current Louisiana pharmacist license in hand
