Project Manager – Construction / Installation (NOT Software PM)
Plano, TX (Onsite) | Contract-to-Hire
We are hiring multiple Project Managers to support hands-on, field-driven projects focused on access control and construction-related installations.
🚫 This is NOT a software/IT Project Manager role.
We are seeking professionals with real-world experience in construction, commercial furniture installation, design, or hospitality projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage projects from kickoff through completion across physical build/install phases
- Serve as a customer-facing PM, ensuring strong communication and client satisfaction
- Coordinate vendors, timelines, and project deliverables on-site
- Navigate project phases similar to construction workflows (planning → execution → completion)
- Stay flexible and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
What You Bring:
- 4 years of Project Management experience in construction or related industries
- Proven track record with solid references
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience managing on-site, hands-on projects (not software/IT)
Highly Preferred Backgrounds:
- Construction or commercial furniture installation
- Access control systems
- Design or hospitality project experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Exposure to SAP (nice to have)
