EHS Manager – Carrollton, TX * Contract to Hire*
Join a global leader in manufacturing and take ownership of Environmental, Health & Safety at a key production site. This role is a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading EHS strategy across the facility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop the site EHS team
- Drive a proactive, high-performance safety culture across all operations
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, environmental, and corporate standards
- Partner with leadership to maintain ISO 14001 and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training programs
- Act as the primary EHS leader for internal teams and external agencies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in EHS or related field
- 10 years in manufacturing (food or similar), including 6 years in leadership
- Proven success building and influencing safety culture
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental compliance, and machine safety
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- PSM, Six Sigma, or Taproot experience
