What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Roylo Partners?
Marketing Assistant
Tampa, Florida | Full-time | On-site
Want to do more than watch a marketing campaign from the sidelines? As a
Marketing Assistant in Tampa, you will be involved in the preparation
and execution that make a campaign real: understanding the brief,
organizing the assets, shaping first drafts, and checking the details
before work reaches an audience. You will work with a team that can
explain the thinking behind each step while you build your own practical
skills.
What you will touch
Your tasks will change with the campaign calendar, but every assignment
should have a brief, a reviewer, and a clear deadline.
• Draft short copy for email, social, or event materials from an
approved brief.
• Organize image and document versions so the team uses current assets.
• Confirm links, dates, and audience details before materials are
released.
• Gather simple performance figures and prepare a readable update.
As you develop, you will learn why a message was chosen and what the
response suggests, then take ownership of a defined part of the next
campaign. You will still have a reviewer for final approvals.
The role includes communication with colleagues who may own different
pieces of a campaign. You will keep requests specific, record feedback
accurately, and check that the right person has approved a final
version. Marketing is creative work, but it is also a series of promises
about what will be ready and when.
A place to build your approach
We will introduce you to our campaign process and give you feedback on
your writing, organization, and reporting. You can observe how
experienced teammates choose an audience and refine a message, then take
ownership of a defined task as your confidence grows. A personal
project, university club, hospitality promotion, internship, or
community event can all show the curiosity we value.
You should enjoy learning what makes people respond, welcome
constructive edits, and manage your work without waiting for repeated
reminders. A degree in marketing is not required for the tasks
described. Basic familiarity with spreadsheets and common digital tools
helps; specific platforms can be taught.
This is a full-time, on-site Tampa role. Apply with your resume and tell
us about a piece of work you helped move from an idea into something
people actually saw or used.
